The Ladinia Women's Chorus will aim is to form a musical ensemble of a high choral standard, that will contribute to the international choral community by representing the Ladin community at national and international competitions and festivals.

 

At the moment the choir consist in 24 singers between 18/50 years. The Choir was found 2017 and only after 2 years the choir won their first international competition in Riva del Garda (IT), with a golden diploma level 4 and reached the "Winner of Category" Diploma. The choir is directed by its founder Martin Runggaldier. Ladinia was also part of the 11th World Choir Games 2021 in Flander (BE). The choir performed in the Champions Competion in the Category "Musica Contemporanea" and won their firs Olympic Medal, a SILVER medal.

Martin Runggaldier (29) started conducting in 2013 - the youth choir of the Town St. Christina. In 2016 he took part at a Master Class in Choral Conducting at the University of Pretoria in South Africa holded by Dr. Brady Allred (USA - Salt Lake Choral Artist). Hes mentor Christo Burger, conductor of Akustika Chamber Singers from South Africa was and still is the most important person in Martin's conducting training, as Christo is also Co-Founder/Mentor of the Ladinia Women's Chorus.
